Description The Service Asset & Tooling Coordinator role owns and manages service tooling and field service truck assets across their full lifecycle—driving standards, vendor coordination, inventory control, cost management, and operational readiness to support technician productivity, safety, and long-term service operations. What you'll do: Own and manage service tooling and field service truck assets across their full lifecycle. Establish and maintain tooling and truck standards aligned with safety, dealer, and operational requirements. Oversee specifications, purchasing, vendor coordination, maintenance, and capital planning. Manage inventory, calibration, repairs, replacements, and obsolescence across branches. Ensure tooling readiness for new products, service campaigns, and technician applications. Monitor spend, utilization, and performance to improve efficiency and control costs. Support training programs, audits, shop modernization, and branch expansion initiatives. Occasional travel to branch locations as needed Requirements What you'll need: Strong organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Prior experience managing assets or inventory preferred IMPORTANT INFORMATION While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Standing, walking and meeting activities are required frequently throughout the workday. Employee must be able to process paperwork and utilize office equipment (including personal computer, phone, etc.). A large portion of the day is spent communicating orally in person and by phone. Normal sight or corrected vision is required to read documents and use standard computer terminals. Ability to move around continuously throughout the service department. Work may involve moving or lifting of light to moderately heavy materials or equipment requiring physical strength and agility to withstand the strain of manual work.
