Reports to: Service Manager / Workshop Supervisor Employment Type: Full-time, entry-level operational role with a development track towards PDI inspection Address: R. Margarida Dalçoquio Bitencourt, 142 - Salseiros, Itajaí - SC, 88311-570 Position Summary: Responsible for equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and container loading/unloading. During downtime, actively learns PDI inspection skills, serving as a key talent reserve for internal growth into technical positions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Equipment Cleaning & Basic Maintenance (Primary Duty) Perform external washing, interior dusting, filter cleaning, and other routine care on returned or pre‑delivery equipment in line with standard procedures. Inspect basic equipment conditions (e.g., leaks, unusual noises, wear) and report any abnormalities promptly. Manage cleaning tools and consumables, and maintain a clean, safe work area. 2. Container Loading & Unloading (Primary Duty) Unload incoming containers, unpack, perform initial registration, and load outgoing containers, securing and sealing them properly. Use manual or mechanical handling tools to ensure no damage to goods and accurate counts. Coordinate with the warehouse team for smooth transfer of inbound/outbound documentation. 3. PDI Skill Development (Growth Duty) Actively shadow the PDI Assistant during idle periods to learn inspection processes, criteria, and instrument usage. Participate in simulated inspection exercises and gradually master PDI report‑filling standards. Upon passing internal assessments, become eligible for transfer to a Junior PDI Assistant role, opening a clear technical career path. Middle school education or above; experience in factory, warehouse, or maintenance workshops is preferred. Physically fit and willing to perform manual tasks, including outdoor work (washing, loading/unloading). Strong willingness to learn and hands‑on interest in mechanical equipment. Good team player, follows instructions, and adheres strictly to safety practices. Forklift or driving licence is an advantage; the company can arrange training for those without.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and the loading and unloading of containers. Additionally, the employee will undergo training in PDI inspection to develop a technical career path.
