JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests by providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position requires a passion for guest services, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of guest services principles and practices is essential.
• Familiarity with bussing techniques and food handling procedures.
• Experience using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables promptly after guests leave.
• Support servers by delivering food and beverages to tables efficiently.
• Help with food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Operate the Toast POS system to process orders accurately when required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
• Assist in stocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels in the kitchen and service areas.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
