YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

· Able to use Microsoft Windows based programs.
· Previous experience of working in an administrative capacity.
· Dealing with enquiries or take clear and full messages when callers need to be referred.
· Manage and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

· Provide administration functions including entry on to the electronic training database updating ward/department-based records and inventories.
· Assist with the co-ordination of clinical user training.
· Prepare and distribute documentation to support training needs.
· Record equipment risk assessments agreed by supplier and clinicians.
· Collate training evaluations as required.
· Assist in obtaining and disseminating essential consumable order codes and details to ensure clinical areas are prepared to use new devices.
· Monitor processes for the maintenance of accurate and current records of competency held locally and centrally on an electronic training database.
· Comply with relevant policy, legislative and administrative requirements.
· Undertake all mandatory training.
· Play an active part in department projects.
· Proactively support the Head of Medical Engineering and Device Governance in the maintenance of a lifelong learning environment.
· Perform other appropriate duties as agreed with the head of department.
