As a Service Associate, you will assist with the ongoing upkeep of technology platforms and services linked to lending origination for our Commercial customers including platforms such as ACM/CBIG, Document Exchange, ANZ Redact, and Commercial Lending Platform (CLP). Your primary responsibilities will include understanding and developing requirements to optimise and enhance the applications. You will be an integral part of the team who supports these applications and products and delivers high-quality business analysis artifacts to help the Lend and Grow Portfolio streamline processes, systems and in doing so reduce risk and increase customer and banker experiences.
Develop requirements that are fit-for-purpose, accurate and display an understanding of the financial implications to the project or program and manage the requirements throughout the life of the project
Work efficiently with the customer to elicit project requirements that are fit for purpose, recommending appropriate stakeholders to be involved with elicitation activities
Display knowledge of business analysis processes, demonstrate ability to document and communicate requirements effectively and provide input for the improvement of business analysis processes and performance
Collaborate with the various stakeholders to gain in-depth knowledge of changes to relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing impacting our applications.
Work closely with the Risk and Assurance team to identify potential operational risks associated with any application change.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven experience across process development and various delivery functions, such as business analysis, risk management and implementing change
Excellent interpersonal, active listening and influencing skills – you need to be comfortable asking questions, raising concerns, and constantly thinking about bankers and customers
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
Strong business analysis skills leveraging structured thinking, determining success measures through data analysis
Excellent problem-solving skills, you can find clear paths through ambiguity and making decisions within broad direction and boundaries
An eye for detail - as a member of a team responsible for analysis and writing requirements, your willingness to iteratively improve precision and clarity is paramount
A passion for user experience in shaping solution design outcome
Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
Ideally, exposure to commercial lending or related financial services domains and systems
