Description

Calgary Jewellery is looking for a Service Associate to join our team. If you are interested in luxury retail and have a drive towards building positive customer relations, then we may have a place in our team for you.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred, ideally in a luxury goods, watch repair, or jewellery environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple service requests simultaneously, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers, internal teams, and external vendors.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments, including goldsmiths, external vendors, and management.
  • A basic understanding of jewellery and watch repair processes is a plus but not essential. A willingness to learn is key.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office-related software. Experience with inventory management or service management software is a plus.
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and be flexible with days off (Sunday + either Tuesday or Friday).

Responsibilities
  • Take in jewellery and watches and log service requests from customers, ensuring all relevant details are accurately recorded.
  • Create all necessary paperwork for each service request, including job orders, repair details, and customer contact information.
  • Work closely with in-house goldsmiths and external service vendors to ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed according to company standards and timelines.
  • Co-ordinate with the shipping team to process repair jobs that need to be sent out.
  • Regularly update customers on the status of their service requests, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the progress of their repairs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Service Department, including filing, record-keeping, and assisting with other tasks as needed.
  • Ensure that all repairs meet quality standards before returning items to customers, conducting thorough checks and assessments where necessary.
