Requirements • Greet customers and provide friendly, fast, and efficient service. • Bag groceries carefully and efficiently to prevent damage. • Check carts or baskets for any remaining items. • Assist customers with taking groceries to their vehicles when needed. • Help keep the front end clean, safe, and organized (spills, floors, general cleanliness). • Follow basic safety, sanitation, and handwashing standards. • Report safety hazards or equipment issues to a supervisor. • Arrive on time and follow scheduled work hours. Minimum Skills & Qualifications • Friendly, attentive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Enjoys helping people and providing great customer service. • Comfortable talking with customers and coworkers. • Works well as part of a team and follows directions. Physical Demands The physical demands described below represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift. • Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and pull as part of daily tasks. • Ability to regularly lift or move items up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs. • Ability to work around fresh, dried, and processed food products without allergic reactions. • Ability to tolerate moderate exposure to dust and cleaning products during routine cleaning duties.
