If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join the Council’s Highways PFI Client Team in the role of Service Assurance Analyst.
The Highways PFI Client Team is responsible for administering and overseeing the multi-billion pound Highways contract with Amey in Sheffield, and you’ll find yourself in a supportive environment that fosters collaboration and enables staff to succeed in meeting their team goals whilst contributing to the wider organisation.

We are looking to recruit an individual who is motivated, professional, and enthusiastic to cover a range of duties and responsibilities. The postholder will be expected to work to support primarily Environmental Maintenance Functions, and will be responsible for dealing with complex customer complaints, Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests as well as applying analytical skills to help us manage and monitor both contractor performance and customer experience.
The Service Assurance Analyst has responsibility for maintaining and reviewing large datasets and providing performance analysis across thousands of customer interactions each month, so confidence in fast and effective large-scale data analysis is a pivotal part of this role.
They will also have responsibility for plotting, updating and managing the Council’s spatial mapping and public consultation platform for Tree consultations under Section 115 of the Environment Act.
Due to the technicality of the work, experience with performance management and data analysis across large datasets and an understanding of spatial mapping and GIS Software are a plus.
The successful candidate will bring new ideas and innovative ways of working. Candidates should have strong IT and analytical skills and be able to use a wide range of Microsoft 365 packages. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and strong organisational and time keeping skills are also required. This varied and challenging role requires a keen commitment to teamwork, exceptional communication and customer care skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will support with team projects, ensure team member wellbeing and collaborate with other services to support with the overall success of the team.
The role is part of a hybrid working model which includes working at home and in the office. Office attendance is required for management cover, training, meetings and for operational service requirements.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
