JOB SUMMARY: To review and assist to production of the aircraft maintenance work specifications (work task summary, material listing, tooling list, manual and drawing listing) related to the assigned projects for use by the MRO and other departments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Create service orders or revisions for scheduled maintenance, drop-in visits and offsite support. Co-ordinate with the customer's representatives, MRO team and other departments on inquiries related to the documentation and services needed for the aircraft project. Work with Maintenance Manager to assess the capability, man-hour requirements and slot availability for potential projects. Work with Engineers-In-Charge and/or Maintenance Manager to order initial parts, consumables, special tooling requirements related to the contracted aircraft projects and any additional work requirement from the customer during aircraft maintenance. Sourcing parts and services from external vendors, and issuing of PO’s to vendors. Set up new vendors for inductions into AVL and payment systems. Coordination of aircrafts movements with local ground handlers, airport service providers, and security. Monitoring & timely update of project status. Prepare work packages and relevant documentation required for aircraft projects prior to aircraft input and during maintenance Maintain ongoing work packages and ensure that all paperwork is completed and accounted for at the end of every check.
