Atex are one of Ireland’s leading lighting and emergency lighting system integrators. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service & Commissioning Engineer for our Service/Commissioning Department.
Atex are currently looking for Service & Commissioning Engineer with projects throughout Ireland and Europe.
The job specification for Service & Commissioning Engineer within Atex Ltd. is detailed below but a high degree of flexibility is required to support the demands of the Atex Sales and Project and Service Departments.

KEY QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Electrical Engineering Degree / Electrician
• Autocad Drawing Skills
• IT skills, MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Site experience

• Servicing of Centrally Powered Emergency Lighting Systems
• Carrying out a system Commission of Centrally Powered Emergency Lighting Systems
• Commissioning of Entrally Powered & Self-contained Emergency Lighting in accordance with IS3217:2013
• Technical Understanding of the IS3217:2013 + A1 2017, EN50171
• Knowledge of Hazardous Areas and Classifications
• Knowledge of Electrical Systems
• Handover of Service, Commissioning & Site Reports
• Working closely with Clients
