Responsibilities

ROLE: SERVICE COORDINATOR

Salary: £37,300 per annum dependant on experience plus an on-call allowance of £1200
Location: Michinhampton, Gloucestershire
Contract/Hours: Permanent, full-time working 37 hours a week plus 1 week every 6 weeks on call.

Rowan Tree House is a Forever home in a beautiful setting in Gloucestershire, the home is for a young person with complex needs and a high level of challenging behaviour with a care ratio of 4:1 with an experienced staff team.
Rowan Tree House provides the young person who lives here with a home for life. Giving the young person stability, consistency, and appropriate, care, and support, while supporting them to integrate into the community as much as possible and achieve supported independence as they transition into adulthood.
This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role to work alongside our experienced Forever Home Manager as a deputy with the opportunity to make an impact on the young person’s future.
We will actively support you in your role as deputy and provide you with regular supervision / APR process and specialist training including a commitment to achieve Leadership and Management qualification from our newly developed Professional Development Centre.

  • Manage and lead a team of professional social care staff.
  • Sustain and support a strong and high achieving team.
  • To support and sustain a good working relationship with the young persons parent.
  • Liaise with our key Stakeholders within and outside Action for Children.
  • Support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home.
  • Deputise in the Managers absence with support.
  • To support with the regulatory transition between Ofsted and CQC.
  • To attend appointments and activities with the young person by transporting them in the young person’s vehicle that you will be required to drive.
