    Keenan Recycling, part of Biffa, provides food waste collection services for businesses including, restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, and prisons. We also collect food waste on behalf of waste management companies, brokers, and councils. With the use of high-end technology, we make the most of any food waste by taking it to anaerobic digestion plants, where it is converted into biogas that can be used for electricity, heat or even biofuel for transport.

Responsibilities

A QUICK LOOK AT THE ROLE

As a Service Coordinator, you will be required to liaise with Drivers daily to ensure collections and deliveries are carried out on time and to a high standard. You will be the main point of contact for our customers and must communicate effectively through email and telephone.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Allocate and schedule jobs to maximise operational and logistical performance.
  • Liaise with drivers on a regular basis throughout the day.
  • Process all incoming customer queries.
  • Liaise with the Account Managers and Depot Supervisors to keep them informed of any potential customer service issues.
  • Work closely with the Transport Team.
  • Answer all incoming phone enquiries relating to collections.
  • Handle customer complaints in an effective and professional manner, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
  • Set-up new services and customers, ensuring that all information is set-up accurately in the database, including the pricing.
  • Work closely with the finance team to resolve customer queries.
  • Assist with stock control.
