Description Service Coordinator – Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration RLP Mechanical | DFW Metroplex $55,000 – $65,000 Salary | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits RLP Mechanical is hiring an experienced Service Coordinator to support our growing commercial HVAC and refrigeration service department in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This role is critical to keeping our service operations running smoothly. You’ll coordinate service documentation, support technicians and dispatch, process work orders, and ensure accurate billing and communication between our team and our customers. Why Join RLP Mechanical? • Competitive Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 depending on experience • Weekly Pay • Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision • 401(k) with Company Match: 6% match on 4% contribution • Paid Time Off: Up to 20 days PTO based on experience • Paid Holidays starting Day 1 • Stable, growing mechanical contractor serving DFW for 15+ years Key Responsibilities Service Order Processing • Process and complete service work orders within 24–48 hours • Verify technician labor hours, materials, and documentation • Ensure service tickets are accurate before invoicing • Send invoices over $2,000 to the Service Manager for approval • Coordinate with technicians and dispatch to resolve discrepancies Quotes & Customer Communication • Prepare service-related quotes generated from completed service calls • Submit quotes to the Service Manager for approval • Communicate approved quotes to customers when directed Technician & Service Department Support • Verify technician timesheets daily before weekly payroll submission • Assist with technician scheduling and on-call rotations (planned 3 months in advance) • Pull permits when required and ensure compliance with local regulations Financial & Account Coordination • Follow up on past-due customer invoices • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances • Place accounts on hold after 90 days without payment • Escalate collection issues to the Service Manager when necessary Qualifications • 3–6+ years of Service Coordinator experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical services • Previous dispatch or service scheduling experience preferred • Experience reviewing technician service tickets and invoices • Background in billing, accounts receivable, or service administration preferred • Strong attention to detail and organization skills • Professional communication and customer service ability • Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record About RLP Mechanical For over 15 years, RLP Mechanical has provided commercial HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical services throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
