REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare management, social services, business administration).
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the NDIS or similar healthcare services in Melbourne.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS guidelines and compliance requirements in Melbourne.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Service Coordinator will be responsible for tasks related to participant services, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community-based activities, and Short-term accommodations. This position is an integral part of our management team, as the Service Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining compliance with NDIS guidelines, and managing stakeholder relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service Delivery: You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of services to our participants. This includes assisting participants with the specific support they require to meet their individual needs.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing barriers to engagement, ensuring smooth communication with the participant and their respective care team.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensuring that all services in Melbourne are delivered in accordance with NDIS guidelines and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Reporting: Providing regular reports on service delivery metrics, participant feedback, and any operational challenges to senior management in Melbourne.
  • Rostering: Maintaining and updating the participant’s care plan and rostering system.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure services are delivered within budget in Melbourne and identify opportunities for financial efficiency.
