JOB SUMMARY

As Service Coordinator you will be responsible for field service technician and parts resource scheduling and deployment activity as well as the associated end-to-end administration requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required
  • Working knowledge of Protean and SAP preferred
  • Experience in a field service planning/coordination role preferred

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the efficient work planning, despatch and coordination of service engineers with the goal of maximising utilisation and billable hours
  • Own the parts ordering & delivery processes for planned and emergency service visits whilst minimising local inventory holdings
  • Ensure service and contract administration activities are performed as required
  • Coordinate the movement, upkeep, utilisation and paid hire of rental units
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure that the bought in parts and services are secured in a cost effective and timely manner
  • Open service activities, actively monitor Work In Progress, and process through to final invoicing or appropriate closing stage in a timely manner
  • Management and resolution of invoicing queries and disputes
  • Operate all service functions within the ISO 9001 quality standard currently in place, including Method Statements & Risk Assessments as required
  • Work closely with Services Manager to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained and that any problematic issues are escalated and addressed in an effective and timely way
  • Assist with internal audits to ensure the business maintains its ISO standards.
  • Support Sales/Service Team with the service contract review meeting.
  • Support Service Team with WIP’s list and meeting.
  • Adding warranty claims as well as correspondence with the warranty team to allow the claim to progress.
