JOB DESCRIPTION

The Service Coordinator will provide direct support to clients. They will perform administrative tasks related to the operation of programs and will assist/liaison with staff for the implementation and maintenance of all services.
ADMINISTRATION AND OTHER TASKS
Participates in internal and external committees/meetings, training sessions
Supports staff in the delivery of safe and effective services which meet client care needs, agency contractual and quality improvement meeting organization standards. Promotes Occupational Health and Safety practices.
Maintains knowledge, observes, practices and enforces appropriate procedures in regards to safety, quality and environmental standards.
Provides after hours on-call duties as required. Travels using own vehicle.
Performs other duties as required
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Personal Support Worker Certificate, Administrative certificates as considered as asset.
Experience in staff scheduling and in payroll required.
Experience working with vulnerable older persons and older adults with mental health issues, addictions, and other special needs.
Demonstrates excellent knowledge and skill in customer services.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and data base applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Suite, Teams).
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
Immunization for tuberculosis, chickenpox, mumps, and hepatitis B.
Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
Current Vulnerable Sector Police check required completed within last 12 months is required.
This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and you must provide Lumacare with proof of vaccination prior to employment.
