EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – SERVICE COORDINATOR

Maritime Case Ltd. is looking to expand its service team by adding one full-time Heavy Equipment Service Coordinator. Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Maritime Case is the sole CASE Construction dealership servicing New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.

The main purpose of this position is to support the Service Department by being the main point of communication between customers, technicians and management. This position plays an integral role in managing the logistics of equipment maintenance and repair and ensuring the department operates efficiently. The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicate with customers to provide timely status updates on repairs and maintenance and professionally address and resolve customer questions and complaints efficiently.
  • Provide general administrative assistance by answering phones, maintaining records, managing files and navigating service management software.
  • Ensure technicians have a steady flow of work, and the tools and parts needed to complete said workflow.
  • Prepare detailed work orders for technicians, ensuring clear direction and accuracy for efficient repairs.
  • Create and manage detailed daily technician schedules, vacation and training schedules and reconcile technician payroll.
  • Prepare customer quotes for parts and service, extended warranty, maintenance contracts and prepare work orders for invoicing within the company timeframe.
  • Collect payment information and process accordingly.
  • Provide guidance to ensure a clean and safe work area in the shop and ensure company related policies and procedures around WorkSafe practices are adhered to.

Qualified candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills and maintain a customer-centric mindset. Strong organizational skills are paramount to the success of this position. The candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring detailed records are kept. Previous experience/working knowledge of heavy equipment technical issues would be considered an asset. Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft teams. Travel within North America will be required at times.
