Overview Service Coordinator Quinn CompanyCity: City of Industry, CA. Wages: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour (Depending on experience and education) The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing communication between customers and technicians, ensuring all service jobs are accurately coordinated, updated, and completed in a timely manner. This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing daily job status updates, organizing workflow, and supporting the service team. The ideal candidate excels in customer service, maintains strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Wages Wages: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour (Depending on experience and education) Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Coordinate the dispatch of field and shop technicians to job sites. Reconcile technician time between Kronos and DBS. Review and update work in process (WIP) as changes occur. Maintain and expedite work orders, ensuring accurate workflow coordination. Communicate work order status to the Customer Service Communicator. Respond promptly to service requests and follow through on commitments. Provide professional customer service to support positive NPS scores. Demonstrate effective communication with internal teams. Order Caterpillar parts as needed for customer jobs. Quote and source parts from external vendors. Manage, analyze, and report on WIP, identifying warranty or cross‑department needs. Provide Time & Material estimates for customers. Authorize technicians to purchase parts from external vendors, with or without a Quinn PO. Secure appropriate payment methods, including cash transactions. Maintain work orders and complete invoicing within established timelines (Last Day of Labor to Invoice, WIP turns). Manage collection issues proactively to prevent write‑offs. Maintain general knowledge of Machine and Weld Shop Product Support. Support other branches with service requirements as needed. Perform additional tasks assigned by management, including occasional work outside normal hours to meet unexpected needs. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word). Ability to work professionally with customers and internal teams. Strong organizational and communication skills.
