What you’ll be doing: As a Service Coordinator at Hastings Deering, you will: Coordinate daily service activities and technical schedules – Ensure smooth operations by managing service tasks and technician schedules effectively. Create, manage and close work orders – Maintain accuracy and compliance with company processes throughout the job lifecycle. Maintain strong communication – keep customers updated on quotes, variations, progress, and invoicing. Liaise with technicians, parts and workshop teams – Foster collaboration to optimize workflow and efficiency. Ensure accurate records – manage documentation, labour hours, and invoicing in Microsoft AX to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Monitor job progress and resolve delays – Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Ensure safety and compliance requirements are met – Uphold the highest standards of workplace health, safety, and regulatory compliance. What you’ll need: A successful teammate will have experience in: Qualified and experienced – hold relevant qualifications in Business Administration or similar Industry knowledge – previous experience in service coordination, scheduling, or administration within mechanical, automotive, or heavy equipment industries. Systems capability – confident with computing, including Microsoft AX and Power BI. Safety focused – committed to maintaining the highest standards of workplace health and safety. Customer-oriented communicator – highly developed verbal and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
