Mediline Supported Living is looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, caring person with clear values of commitment towards people with support needs to join our team. We provide a 24 hour support service to adults with disabilities in various community settings such as within the person’s home, group services within the community or supporting people on activities.
As the service Co-ordinator , you will be responsible for the day to day management of allocated 24 hr services and associated administrative requirements involved in managing a number of teams as required. You will be required to participate within the 24 hour emergency call system on a rota basis.
The position will include recruiting for and inducting new staff, training and supervising individual staff members, managing staff teams and ensuring that people supported are provided with person centred support enabling them to have the life they want. You will be involved with using company ICT systems, completing and updating care plans and risk assessments, preparing and managing staff rotas, chairing team meetings, conducting service reviews, attending multi- disciplinary meetings, weekly monitoring of support services and other tasks associated in maintaining the quality of the services.
You must be familiar with meeting outcomes and targets and can demonstrate managerial ability with underpinning knowledge of the Care Act , Mental Capacity Act , CQC regulations and safeguarding protocols.
You are required to hold a QCF L5 in health and social care or an equivalent professional qualification and you will be willing to participate in a personal development programme.
