We have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Everyday Banking Product team. This is a newly created role with a great opportunity to join an experienced team that support each other with knowledge and workload. This role must be based in Auckland. It is a hybrid role with four days in the office and one day where you can work flexibly. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with our Service Delivery Lead, and she let us know the following about the role. What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Understand, end to end, how our systems deliver products and services for customers. Ensure product documentation for systems is complete, up to date and is tested. Support hypercare following change, transitioning new capability to BAU. Support product colleagues with requirements for technology colleagues. Collaborative with product and technology colleagues to lead releases for BAU and change. What projects / work will the candidate be working on now and into the next year? The focus of this role will be the Core Ledger Replacement (CLR), include CLR backlog progression and applying insight to existing products and services. What is your management style? Supportive, I will work with you to get clear on the outcomes and then step back, I am there if you need me – always. What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? In this role, you’ll be establishing a new skill within our Customer, Product & Services (CP&S) area, and you will be working closely with both CP&S and Technology teams. You will have the ability to define and set Ways of Working. What do we want you to know before you apply? This role is 50:50 technical knowledge and collaboration. Please also be aware that it may be required for this person to start earlier in the day (approximately 7am or 7:30am) due to the ways of working. What will success look like for the candidate in this role? CLR for Term Deposits stabilised in the first year, confidence in our documentation and support for outages. You will have developed strong relationships within CP&S and Technology. What technical skills are required for this role? We are looking for someone experienced in Service & Delivery management, with a strong understanding of technical infrastructure and related ecosystems.
