We are looking for an experienced and proactive Service Delivery Manager to oversee IT services for a renowned international research organisation based in Garching near Munich. In this key role, you will ensure excellent service delivery, foster stakeholder satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic and international environment. What you can expect:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT outtasking services in line with SLAs and client expectations
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams as well as external subcontractors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
  • Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous service improvement
  • Act as the primary operational contact for clients and facilitate regular service reviews
  • Support the development of service delivery processes and contribute to strategic improvements

What you bring with you:

  • Education & Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Service Delivery Manager or similar role within the IT services industry, Proven track record in managing IT service delivery in complex, international environments
  • Skills & Qualification: Solid knowledge of IT service management frameworks, ITIL certification is required, Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent) is a plus, Experience in managing third-party vendors and external service providers
  • Working style: Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, Excellent team leadership and people management capabilities
  • Languages: Business fluent German (min. C1) and very good English skills (min. B2/C1)
