Description


* Manage all designated project work to ensure successful completion in accordance with safety, technical and legislative policies and procedures, as well as delivering in accordance with P6 programme, cost and quality.

* Undertake site visits and attend kick off meetings for schemes, as well as monitoring progress and provide regular updates to both Clancy SGN.

* Liaise and coordinate with our clients, senior management and associated stakeholders to meet key programme dates.

* Execute project execution plans associated with the proposed delivery strategy. * Demonstrate visual leadership and promote both Clancy and Client behaviour, maintaining close and proactive working relationships with SGN.

* Manage and coordinate subcontractors involved and associated with the delivery of the works, ensuring they deliver to time, cost and quality.

* Closely monitor and collate all existing and found information throughout the pre-construction phase, and ensure that these are captured and handed over to the delivery team following completion of the project.

* Support estimating team in production of construction programmes, prices, risk registers and initial key CDM / safety documentation.

* Support consenting teams in production of stakeholder management and consenting plans.

* Support commercial teams to ensure costs control is maintained throughout the lifecycle of the projects and administration of project commercials are maintained via NEC contracts.

* Contractual experience (ideally NEC)

* Gas and Utilities experience

* Significant technical and practical experience in projects management within the utilities sector.

* Detailed understanding of the gas industry.

* Previous experience with working with primavera p6.

* Previous experience with working with Excel data.

* Excellent communication skills and an ability to analyse problems and offer solutions.Main Responsibilities for IT Project Manager Roles

  • Providing clear and timely progress reports to stakeholders and senior management

  • Promoting effective collaboration and continuous improvement across IT project delivery

IT Project Manager Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing IT or technology projects from initiation to completion
  • Experience of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or hybrid delivery approaches
  • Strong understanding of project planning, budget management, risk management, change control, and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication, organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams while meeting deadlines
  • Confident working with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience using project management tools and software to maintain plans, actions, reporting, and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to project delivery
  • Relevant project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM, or Scrum certification, is desirable
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers, contractors, or external technology partners is an advantage

IT Service Delivery Manager Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in IT service delivery, IT service management, or a similar technology operations role
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and service management processes
  • Experience managing incidents, problems, changes, service levels, and continual improvement activities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing suppliers, service providers, and technology partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use service data to drive improvements
  • Organised and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience producing service reports, performance dashboards, and management information
  • Ability to lead discussions, coordinate teams, and remain calm during major incidents or service disruption
  • ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience is desirable
  • Experience with IT service management tools and platforms is desirable
