Description

Grade B: £39,784 (National Framework) or £45,456 (London Framework – if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £581 per annum for those working from home.
Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week. We may also consider compressed hours.
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Home-based with regular travel to CQC offices.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING…

  • Be educated to degree or equivalent qualification in Service design or can demonstrate appropriate work-based experience.
  • You will have significant experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams across the whole product development lifecycle and collaborating with key roles such as user researchers, business analysts, product managers, content designers, etc.
  • You will work with others to understand user needs and business requirements, you will use your design skills and experience to align these to the product design, and use prototyping to test early designs.
  • You will have experience working in a regulatory or similar environment and understand the complexities that this brings, and how your service designs need to translate a complex situation into a simple user journey.
  • Experience of using Service design tools and methodology.

As a Service Designer within our Product & Service Design function in CQC you will work within multidisciplinary teams in designing the end-to-end journey of services to help users complete their goal and allow CQC to deliver its policy intent.
You will be a specialist in leading design across multiple agile digital delivery teams, working closely with senior stakeholders across the programme to ensure the effective delivery of services.
You will be part of our design community, sharing your skills, knowledge and experience with others across CQC.
