About the Role
Service Stream’s Service and Support Department are currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our growing company. As a Service Desk Analyst you will play a crucial role in providing front line IT support across all Service Stream business units, ensuring that all assigned IT incidents and service requests are assessed, remediated or evaluated for escalation in a timely manner and aiming to provide a high level of Customer Satisfaction. Based in our Collin Street, Melbourne office, this opportunity is offered under a Maximum Term, Full-Time contract.

Location: Melbourne, VIC
Reporting Line: Service & Support Lead

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the ability to carry out the following:

  • Provide effective first level IT support over the phone, on-site & via the CRM suite supporting desktops, applications, connectivity issues and peripheral hardware issues.
  • Assist with user administration, installation and basic training on in-house applications used by employees
  • Assist the improvement of operational KPI’s
  • Support with the implementation and roll-out of new and enhanced processes
  • Record, track, and document the service desk request problem-solving processes used to try to resolve each incident, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken
  • Continually developing and utilising knowledge of technologies and skills relevant to the Service Desk
  • Perform necessary system administration tasks

What do you bring?
We are looking for a resilient individual who has excellent communication skills and a proactive manner of thinking.

In addition to the above, we require an individual with:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to diagnose, resolve entry level technical and hardware issues
  • Previous experience in technical support level or relevant educational qualifications
  • A sound understanding of Outlook / Microsoft exchange / active directory is essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and client applications.
  • Experience with installation/troubleshooting of software and hardware (desktop) faults
