Description

Herschel Infrared Ltd is a dynamic and high-growth international company manufacturing and supplying energy-efficient, stylish, and sustainable electric heating solutions which can be powered by renewable energy.
Due to our expansion, we are looking for a Service Desk Technician to work at our state-of-the-art facility in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for career progression.

Working as part of a friendly team in a nice environment, duties will involve:

  • To provide customer technical support on Hershel Infrared heating and control systems, answering support queries via phone, email or support desk.
  • To log all calls on the call logging system and maintain full documentation
  • Support users in the setup and use of our control systems by providing the necessary advice.
  • To arrange repairs with internal technicians where problems cannot be resolved remotely.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role:

  • Incident and service request management.
  • Highly competent in endpoint management.
  • Develops others by sharing their own experience and expertise.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, report writing and presenting.
  • Excellent time management, planning, organisational and delegation skills.
  • Ability to see big picture and evaluate the wider implications of solutions or processes.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
