Teaser For our office in Mönchengladbach or Stuttgart, we are looking for an experienced Service Director DACH (m/w/d) for our Warehousing domain. In this senior leadership role, you will define and execute the regional service strategy, lead operational performance across the region, and steer the organization through the next phase of integration and transformation within Toyota Automated Logistics. Your impact Provide strategic and operational leadership for the DACH service organization across multiple locations, ensuring safe, stable, and high-performing execution aligned with regional and enterprise priorities Translate business strategy into a clear operational roadmap, with strong governance on performance, standardization, continuous improvement, and sustainable results Lead and develop an international, multi-site service organization, building leadership capability, accountability, and a culture of operational excellence Drive cross-functional alignment across service, sales, engineering, and support functions to improve end-to-end performance and customer outcomes Take ownership of critical operational escalations, ensuring timely decision-making, transparency, and structured resolution including senior level customer engagement Support long-term business growth through strong operational delivery, customer retention, and disciplined identification of selective commercial opportunities Play a key role in the continued integration and transformation of the organization within Toyota Automated Logistics, ensuring clarity, stability, and alignment during change Represent the service organization credibly toward senior internal and external stakeholders and build trusted relationships with strategic warehousing customers, including viastore-relevant customer environments Delivery of the following key outcomes include: A clear regional service strategy aligned with enterprise direction and operational priorities Consistent operational performance with robust KPIs, review routines, and improvement actions Standardized processes, reporting, and governance aligned with broader regional and enterprise requirements A strong leadership team with clear development, coaching, and succession focus A structured and well-governed integration approach supporting the transition within Toyota Advanced Logistics Fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaged team environment through structured engagement and recognition programs What makes you a great fit?​ Completed a degree in mechanical engineering, logistics, management or a comparable field of study Extensive leadership experience in service operations, operational management, and business leadership within intralogistics, warehousing, or machinery and equipment manufacturing Proven operational experience in leading service organizations and improving execution, productivity, quality, and process performance Proven experience managing and developing teams across multiple locations and in an international environment Strong understanding of strategic service management, governance, and operational excellence within warehousing and automated logistics solutions Experience in leading transformation, organizational change, or post-merger integration is highly desirable Experience with Toyota leadership principles and Toyota Industrialized Business Practices (TIBP) is a strong preference Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and the ability to translate long-term direction into operational execution Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong command of the English language, both verbal and written, as a must Commercial awareness and the ability to support sustainable growth through existing customer relationships Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, KPI management, and willingness to travel up to 30% What you can look forward to: Long-term career opportunities in a growing intralogistics environment Structured onboarding program (welcome days and individual onboarding plan) 30 days of annual leave Company car with private use option Comprehensive training and development opportunities (internal academy and external providers) Flexible working hours and a hybrid working model Employer-funded capital-forming benefits Sports and wellness allowance (corporate fitness program) Modern office environment and IT equipment Regular company events and workshops Job bike leasing program (including a second bike option) Access to corporate benefits and employee discounts Excellent transport connections, subsidized public transport ticket, and free employee parking Subsidized lunch options Complimentary fruit, coffee, and water Ready to join Toyota Automated Logistics?
