We are currently looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our Service team located at our office in Nashville, TN. Our ideal candidate for a Service Dispatcher is someone who with 1-3 years of experience in the HVAS industry who possesses strong communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Primary qualifications for icon’s Service Dispatcher include:

  • 1-3 years of dispatch experience or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems and terminology is a plus.
  • Positive and professional attitude with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to instill pride of workmanship in oneself and others.
  • Strong attention to administrative detail.
  • Decisiveness and willingness to address problems, make requests, and determine the best plan of action for specific jobs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity, uphold work standards, and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments

Responsibilities
  • Receiving and organizing service calls so that a HVAC technician is dispatched to a variety of locations in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining the daily work schedules for field technicians and matching each available technician to a job based on the technicians skill level and location.
  • Effectively communicating customer needs to field technicians, the Service Manager, and other relevant parties to ensure personnel are scheduled appropriately based on skill level, efficiency, and training requirements. Additionally, ensuring that all necessary parts are ordered promptly.
  • Providing logistical support to technicians and communicating with both fellow employees and customers.
  • Informing customers of the progress of service operations while ensuring that technicians operate in a cost-effective fashion.
  • Reviewing field technician service reports.
  • Ordering and tracking parts and equipment to ensure timely availability and proper inventory management.
