Maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations. Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instruction. Drop off customers who have vehicles in for service. Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements Work Environment & Physical Abilities: Activities require a full range of motion including; handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. This position may require standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time. This position requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range. This position requires the occasional ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 lbs. Required to perform work inside and outside, in varying weather situations. Must be able to operate simple, complex and heavy-duty machinery. Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and MVR in good standing. Independent Working Skills Ability to work well on a team. Ability to successfully complete a general abilities assessment. Ability to pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen. Preferred Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Previous experience in a similar role. Responsibilities
The Service Driver is responsible for driving trucks to and from the dealership and maintaining truck logs according to regulations. Additional duties include inspecting truck equipment and dropping off customers with vehicles in for service.
