Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Service Engineer to join our team responsible for the maintenance of the Gold Coast Light Rail fleet. Based at our Maintenance Depot in Southport, you will primarily be responsible for project management and technical support for the GCRT LRV team. You will also assist in the establishment of manuals, systems, standards, regimes and technical solutions to improve the performance and reliability of the vehicles. This role will initially be engaged as a 24 month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing the collection of data, processes and procedures relating to vehicle condition, performance and reliability.
  • Supporting product safety, and the development, verification and application of vehicle related standards..
  • Supporting the interface with our customer and developing/maintaining strong technical relationships.
  • The change management and obsolescence management processes.
  • Supporting Training and Quality Assurance activities.
