REQUIREMENTS

  • Vocational or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance)
  • 2+ years of relevant hands-on experience in a similar role or industry (CNCs, laser cutters, or ideally, industrial 3D printers)
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining complex technical equipment
  • Strong understanding of KPI-driven performance and how to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving production environment
  • Mechanically minded with the ability to quickly understand complex systems
  • Excellent team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and processes; not afraid to ask questions and seek help when needed
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to keep an overview in a high-paced setting
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the performance of our most critical production assets, our printers. You’ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for operating, servicing, and continuously improving these high tech machines, ensuring every customer order is delivered with precision and on time.
You will be instrumental in our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, with tasks ranging from preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to process improvement, documentation, and spare parts management. You’ll take ownership of equipment OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), driving operational excellence and minimizing downtime.
This is a hands-on, dynamic role in a fast-paced environment where quality, reliability, and continuous improvement are key. You’ll also collaborate closely with internal teams and external OEMs, contributing directly to our mission of manufacturing excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain high tech 3D printers to support daily production
  • Perform cleaning, powder homogenization, and other machine-related tasks
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and execute scheduled preventative maintenanceTake ownership of machine uptime and reliability by identifying root causes and implementing preventative solutions
  • Analyze performance data and lead improvement projects to increase uptime and quality
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for maintenance procedures, issues, and resolutions
  • Manage and optimize spare parts inventory to minimize downtimeConduct and improve quality control checks, including dimensional accuracy and strength testing
  • Support in building, training, and coordinating the operations team to ensure full ownership of uptime and machine performance
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and external service technicians
