Role Overview As an HVAC Service Engineer, candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality service for Johnson Controls (York) chillers across customer sites. This includes attending breakdowns, executing preventive maintenance, commissioning new systems, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and professional support. Candidate will play a key role in driving Lifecycle & Modernization (L&M) business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Service Execution: Attend breakdown complaints and perform root cause analysis. Execute preventive maintenance and commissioning of York chillers and other Johnson Controls HVAC products. Ensure all service activities are completed as per contractual scope and timelines. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Address queries and concerns within agreed SLAs. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and trust. Business Growth & Compliance: Identify and generate L&M business opportunities. Ensure timely billing and collection of accounts receivable. Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance with internal processes. How Candidate will Succeed Candidates will thrive in this role by combining hands-on technical expertise with a proactive, customer-centric approach. They will work on York chillers and Johnson Controls systems, contributing to service excellence and business expansion. The ability to lead service delivery, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate effectively will be key to success. Qualifications & Experience Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering. 5–7 years of hands-on experience in chiller service, preferably with York chillers. Experience in servicing Data Center environments is highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills in screw and centrifugal chillers.
