Responsibilities

As a Service Engineer - Kinder-Janes Engineers Ltd, your job responsibilities will be -

- Effectively diagnose faults on customer equipment.
-
- Undertake planned and preventative maintenance on pumps & systems
-
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repair and where possible advice on root cause and prevention.

- Commission pumps and systems, both Positive displacement and Centrifugal.
-
- Recommend additional works and upgrades that may assist customers or enhance performance and reliability.

- Maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers and promote after-sales opportunities.

- Complete work, service reports, timesheets, job sheets, recommendations neatly and submit in a timely manner in accordance with procedures. Complete appropriate risk assessment and method statement paperwork before commencing work scopes and comply with customer’s site health and safety and environmental procedures

- Internal & external technical support, including attending Customer and Manufacturer premises both in UK and overseas as necessary

- Respond promptly to all forms of incoming communication, acting on and giving out accurate information in support of excellent customer service or involving others as appropriate

- Operate in accordance with and update and maintain Company administrative systems including enquiry, order and customer databases. Perform all duties in accordance with the requirements of the Company HS&E procedures, QMS processes and Employee Handbook.
