WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience within the offshore, ship, or rig equipment sector working with products such as marine cranes, but not limited to. Your main discipline is mechanical and hydraulic, in addition you have basic knowledge of electrical or/and automation components. As a person you are eager to learn and educate yourself within the industry. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, solutions-oriented individual. To excel in this role, you must be customer-focused, collaborative, and possess excellent communication skills.

Ideally you have

  • Technical education at Bachelors or Technical College level within Mechanical or Hydraulic. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education
  • Minimum 5 years of experience from similar position
  • Previous experience with marine cranes is a must
  • Proficient in English language - both verbal and written

Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Supervise and perform service activities such as refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, preventative maintenance and corrective actions
  • Stay up to date with relevant developments, routines, processes and news
  • Provide information and write reports as required
  • Support sales activities such as follow-up on leads and quotes while at site, as agreed with sales responsible
  • Follow all site safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirements
  • Comply with all relevant safety and quality requirements according to MacGregor
    Reporting directly to the Operations Superintendent. This role is part of our Global Services Division (aftermarket).
