Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Service Department is located at Head Office in Ferndown and the person will join the Service Team reporting into the Operations Manager.

The main purpose of the role is to help the team deliver an effective service programme for UMC’s operation. This role involves nationwide travel and staying away from home on a frequent basis. The specifics of the role include such tasks as:

  • Maintenance, and repairs to various Split, Multi, VRV and AHU systems in a number of high street retail, commercial and domestic environments
  • Completing job-sheets and asset details

You will also be required to support the team’s work in carrying out planned installations for our extensive client base

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with the installation, maintenance and repairs to various Split, Multi, VRV and AHU systems in a number of high street retail, commercial and domestic environments
  • Managing your own busy workload, completing assigned tasks as efficiently as possible
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues, clients and other contractors
  • Minimize financial and resource wastage at all opportunities, paying particular attention to recalls and overtime
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and other statutory legislation
  • Liaise with clients ensuring a positive working relationship
  • Represent the best interests of the business at all times
