We are looking for a Leader with a Clients and Market mindset, an appetite for Business Development, strong Commercial Acumen and a passion for People Leadership to lead our Buildings Service Group from 1 July 2025. Reporting through to our Queensland Regional Managing Director and working with the relevant Market Managing Directors and adjacent service groups, you will lead the Aurecon experience for our Buildings team by ensuring a bright future of work that is interesting and challenging to our team, profitable for Aurecon and beneficial to the clients and communities we operate in. You will lead a team of initially 70+ people in the fields of Buildings Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Sustainability and Digital, to provide exceptional client experience with a view to growing our services and geographical footprint throughout Queensland.
It is an exciting time for the Queensland Buildings team, with the venues delivery for the 2032 Olympics soon to be upon us and our team having already been involved in the early stages for several of the venues. On top of this, we are expecting to see solid growth across multiple local markets which will present opportunities for growth. The Queensland Buildings team is well placed in the traditional Communities and Place Markets such as Defence, Sports, Health and Education, also with a very strong branding in Aviation and Transport.
This role will be located in Brisbane, Queensland.
