Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB specializes in high-end plumbing and HVAC services, and we’re looking for a hard-working person to join us as an HVAC Technician in our Service Department!

OUR IDEAL SERVICE HVAC TECHNICIAN:

We’re looking for someone who meets these qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Ticket or 3rd-4th Year Apprentice
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential HVAC service; commercial service experience is an asset
  • Tech-savvy with iPads and texting apps
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude, excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with retro-fits is an asset
  • Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
  • Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups to ensure efficiency and longevity
  • Install new HVAC equipment and components as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain optimal performance
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues and maintenance recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate service records, including work performed and parts used
  • Collaborate with team members and dispatchers to complete jobs efficiently
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while on job sites
