Description
Oversee security monitoring tools (SIEM, EDR, CrowdStrike, IDS/IPS, Network Security, Firewalls). Ensure cloud platforms adhere to security baselines, hardening standards, and regulatory compliance. Lead vulnerability management, patching cycles, and security audit readiness. Coordinate incident response, escalation, and communication for security events. Champion Zero-Trust, IAM/Privileged Access controls, and secure cloud design. Implement automation frameworks for deployments, health checks, backup/restore, and operational tasks (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD). Develop operational KPIs, SLA adherence, and performance reports for senior management. Contribute to long-term cloud roadmap, security strategy, and modernization initiatives. Lead a team of cloud engineers, security analysts, and operations specialists. Act as key technical authority for Operations, Architecture, and Engineering teams. Collaborate with vendors and partners on deployments, escalations, and service improvements. Support transformation initiatives such as virtualization to cloud-native migration. 10+ years' experience in Telco Cloud Operations, NFV, or large-scale telecom infrastructure. Strong background in Security Operations, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability management, compliance, and incident response. Solid hands-on expertise in Cloud Platforms (OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift) and VNF/CNF lifecycle management. Proven experience in RCA, incident/problem management, performance tuning, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic). Demonstrated leadership managing cloud, security, and operations teams, with strong stakeholder and vendor engagement skills. Ability to define and maintain SOPs, governance standards, KPIs, SLAs, and contribute to cloud modernization initiatives. Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Telecommunications; certifications in Security, Kubernetes, RedHat, ITIL, or Cloud are an added advantage. Eligibility: Open only to Malaysian Citizens or Foreign Expats with Permanent Residency / Resident Pass in Malaysia.
