What You'll Do

  • Plan and deliver installations across hospitals, clinics and healthcare facilities, from pre-site assessment through to commissioning, validation and customer handover.
  • Install, configure and test Nanosonics equipment, ensuring it is safe, compliant and operating to the required standard.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs across the Nanosonics product portfolio.
  • Work closely with customers, contractors and internal teams to coordinate installations and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide customer training and ensure all installation and service documentation is completed accurately and in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Support product improvements, upgrades and other Technical Services activities as required, including travel across Australia.            

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an experienced field-based engineer with strong technical capability, a customer-focused approach and the ability to work confidently in healthcare environments.

  • 3–5 years' experience installing, commissioning and supporting medical technology or similar technical equipment.
  • Experience working in medical devices, healthcare or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical and technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret technical documentation and installation requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage installations from pre-site assessment through to commissioning and customer handover.
  • Strong customer communication, organisation and project coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline, or a relevant trade qualification with demonstrated medical technology experience.
  • Experience with infection prevention, sterilisation, endoscope reprocessing or network-connected medical devices is desirable.
