Description CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency is looking for a Service Intake Coordinator. Under the direction of the Clinical Plan Coordinator the Service Intake Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and tracking of all referral and intakes assigned to the region and develops relationships with referral sources, government agencies, linkage agencies, property managers, etc. HIGHLIGHTS 55% to 60% of time spent in direct face to face billable contact with clients. The remaining time is spent on training, developing relationships, intake coordination and managing referrals. Manages the initial client entry, acting as the first point of contact to gather essential information, screen for service appropriateness, verify benefits, and ensure smooth transition to care. Identify client needs, troubleshoot issues, and connect clients to appropriate community resources. Conducts duties of a Support Worker including maintaining a caseload of persons served. Full-time | Benefit Eligible (Medical, free DMO dental & free vision) including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays Hourly Rate: $19.23 - $22.12 based on education & experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a mental health/human service discipline or The ability to write clear, concise, and accurate billable progress notes. MUST have a valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record. Exceptional time management skills to be able to support the needs of multiple residents. Excellent communication, assessment, and people skills. A prominent level of patience and emotional resilience. The ability to remain calm under pressure when dealing with challenging situations. Ability to carry out domestic duties. Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner. Proficient in MS Office products as well as general computer literacy.
