Requirements OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: The Service Support Team Member is responsible for providing excellent technical support to representatives, customers and internal personnel that exceeds customer expectations in a manner that is consistent with the company values and operating philosophy. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Tech Support – Provide assistance on service jobs that require more than one technician. Pump Duties – Including but not limited to pump evaluations, rebuilds/palletize, pump inventory and management, new pump sales and impeller trim. Loading and unloading deliveries and shipments. Kitting all service job related parts including but not limited to PM kits, SRV kits, pump install kits, etc. Inventory control for service and manufacturing. Local service technician as needed. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience): Minimum of 2 years working in a service/manufacturing position. Comprehensive understanding of pumps and/or similar components. Experience with Microsoft Office Applications. Prior customer service experience preferred. Experience with inventory management/control. DEMONSTRATED CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: Communication – ability to ensure information is passed on to others who should be kept informed. Ability to express oneself clearly in conversation and interaction with others. Ability to express oneself clearly in business writing. Analytical Thinking – the ability to tackle a problem by using logical, systematic, sequential approach. Building Collaborative Relationships – the ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside and outside the organization who can provide information, assistance, and support. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: High energy level and ability to tolerate and manage stress and stressful situations. Travel – work requires travel by car or airplane and includes extended periods of sitting. This could include trips to customer sites as well as other Fulton and Volcanic offices. Vision – visual acuity is required to view a computer terminal and to analyze data. Heavy work – occasionally exertion of 50 pounds or more, moderate walking, standing, and sitting.
