Job Summary: The Automotive Service Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining organization, safety, and efficiency within the service drive and dealership lot. This role supports the Service Department by transporting, parking, staging, cleaning, and preparing customer and inventory vehicles while ensuring a positive customer experience.   Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions * Greet customers in the service drive in a professional and courteous manner * Safely move, park, and retrieve customer and dealership vehicles * Maintain organized flow of vehicles in service lanes, parking lots, and storage areas * Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle staging and positioning * Perform visual inspections for damage and document as required * Install protective coverings (seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers) * Shuttle vehicles between dealership locations if required * Maintain cleanliness of service drive, lot, and parking areas * Monitor lot for safety hazards and report concerns immediately * Ensure keys are properly tagged and secured according to dealership policy * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.  * Report any safety issues, equipment defects, or hazards immediately to management.  * Adhere to all company policies, scripts, and customer service standards. * Maintain a professional appearance and conduct consistent with dealership standards.  * Support management initiatives related to revenue growth, compliance, and customer satisfaction. * Maintain high ethical standards and represent the dealership professionally at all times. * Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping expectations. * Complete all required training, certifications, and compliance courses on time. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build rapport quickly.  * Strong negotiation, closing, and customer service skills.  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.  * Professional phone etiquette and positive attitude. * Perform other duties as assigned by management.   Physical Requirements * Standing and walking for extended periods * Frequent outdoor exposure in service drive and lot * Exposure to noise, vehicle fluids, dust, and varying temperatures is expected. * Operating computer and dealership systems * Ability to sit and/or stand up to 4 hours at a time * Ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.  * Ability to read screens and printed materials. * Clear hearing for effective communication.   Cognitive Requirements * Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions * Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively * Ability to recognize safety hazards and exercise sound judgment * Ability to remember vehicle locations, key tagging procedures, and lot organization systems * Ability to adapt to changing demands throughout the workday * Basic problem-solving skills to address minor operational issues * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members * Ability to remain calm and composed during busy service periods   Work Schedule and Location: * Full Time, minimum 40 hours per week. May include weekends, holidays, bells, back-to-back shifts, early openings, and late closing.
