Description

Due to continued expansion of our maintenance business and a partnership with Renault Trucks, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team at A&D Logistics.
This role will be office based and will be a key part of the workshop and it’s development. The ideal candidate must have experience in Service & Maintenance industry and will also have experience of dealing with customers, planning, workshop schedules and all aspects of a customer service role.
You will be responsible for assisting the Workshop Manager and other team members in the efficient and smooth operation of the maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage proactive and reactive workload.
  • Responsible for the scheduling, monitoring and maintenance of customer service plans and workshop planner
  • Confirming and booking of MOTs, planned and unscheduled work in line with DVSA requirements
  • Updating the workshop planner and any other relevant systems before, during and after any work is undertaken
  • Actively liaise between customer and workshop on progress of all incremental work
  • Ensure accuracy of job documentation received from the workshop
  • To carry out any depot administration tasks as required within your role
  • All aspects of supporting the Workshop Manager and Team Lead to ensure the workshop runs efficiently and accurately
  • Dealing with internal customers such as transport office, drivers and transport manager
  • Maintaining compliance records
  • Working with Parts department to support ordering parts and receiving orders
