About us:
Oxair Gas Systems Australia Pty Ltd is a global leader in Air Separation equipment for many industries. Our head office is in Perth, Western Australia.
The position will be held at our head office in Malaga.

Role:

  • To be a key member of our service and installation team.
  • Manage and control regular preventive maintenance on the full range of Oxair equipment.
  • Respond efficiently to reactive service requirements.
  • Liaise closely with our clients and continue to develop a service package for the utmost reliability.
  • Carry out a balanced combination of in-house and on-site maintenance tasks.
  • Travel Australia and worldwide, visiting various industries that utilise our equipment.
  • Follow up service tasks and client’s parts inventory.
  • Support our installation and commissioning teams
  • Full-time role.
  • Proficient fault-finding skills. The ability to interpret P&ID and mechanical drawings.

Essential Requirements:

  • Keen interest in providing superior customer service and support to our clients.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to be trained in Oxair products.
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
  • Strong written, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Trade certificate or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
  • Willingness to travel both Australia-wide and globally.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office software.
  • Be able to obtain Police clearance and pass regular drug and alcohol screening.
  • Proven track record in a similar service environment.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Driver’s license and passport.

Advantages, but not essential:

  • Previous Knowledge of Oxygen / Nitrogen generation systems.
  • Understanding of compressors and compressed air systems, including air preparation and drying.
  • Knowledge of PLC Systems and instrumentation.
  • Ability to understand Electrical drawings
  • Electrical/electronic trade certificates.
  • Knowledge of large company/mine site health and safety requirements, such as JHA, LOTO, and TAKE5s.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.60 – $55.67 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
