The ideal candidate will oversee all HVAC service operations, manage a team of technicians, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive growth. This position requires a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to quality service. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management Supervise and lead HVAC service technicians. Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor team members to maintain a skilled workforce. Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing professional development. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians as needed. Scheduling & Service Operations Monitor service tickets and workload distribution to maintain efficiency and responsiveness. Ensure service operations are completed on time, within scope, and to company standards. Customer Relationship Management Serve as a primary point of contact for service customers. Respond promptly to inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Provide accurate estimates and recommendations for repairs, maintenance, and system upgrades. Build and maintain strong client relationships and a high level of customer satisfaction. Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure all service work meets company standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements. Conduct job site visits and quality checks on completed work. Lead safety meetings and training sessions. Enforce safety procedures and compliance protocols. Inventory & Resource Management Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and service parts. Coordinate ordering and stocking of necessary materials. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Financial & Administrative Management Manage the service department budget with a focus on profitability and cost control. Review and approve service-related invoices and documentation. Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, certifications, and compliance documentation. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Track service performance metrics and generate operational reports. Provide updates to leadership on service performance and department needs. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stay current on HVAC technology, tools, and industry best practices. Collaboration Work closely with sales, installation, and administrative teams to ensure seamless service operations and customer support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency with HVAC diagnostic tools and software. EPA Universal Valid Drivers License High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications: HVAC certification - NATE, etc. preferred. Technical degree or equivalent training in HVAC preferred. Experience with scheduling/dispatch software is a plus
