They have four locations on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo, Duke Point, Duncan, and Port Alberni. Berk’s is the authorized dealer for Volvo Heavy Trucks and Isuzu Trucks and in addition, the authorized distributor for Canuck Trailers and Felling Trailers Inc
We are now accepting applications for a Service Manage to be part of our Duncan team in a full-time permanent capacity.
We are selectively looking for applicants with the right experience and work ethic to fit our company and join our growing team!
QUALIFICATIONS
· Heavy Duty Mechanic- Red Seal Journeyman Commercial Truck & Transport Technician certificate or equivalent is required.
· Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience in managerial or foreman/supervisory role is required.
· High degree of product and technical knowledge.
· Strong commitment to customer and ensuring quality workmanship with a superior customer service experience.
· Excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
· Have the ability to deal with large volumes of work and stressful situations.
· Strong leadership skills with a general understanding of management principles.
· Good computer skills.
