Description Role Summary Precision HVAC is hiring a Service Manager to support and scale our Commercial HVAC operations. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for an experienced commercial HVAC professional who can step in when things get complex — supporting technicians, visiting job sites, resolving issues in real time, and keeping clients confident and satisfied. This is not a desk-only role. The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial tech with leadership presence and strong communication skills. Who We’re Looking For A senior commercial HVAC technician ready for (or already in) a leadership role Someone who enjoys being the technical escalation point and “go-to” person Comfortable handling client calls, field issues, and technician support Strong troubleshooting ability and calm under pressure A mentor who can help develop and elevate other technicians Core Responsibilities Serve as the escalation point for complex service and installation issues Visit job sites to support technicians and drive solutions Coordinate daily field operations (scheduling, priorities, job flow) Bridge communication between technicians, clients, vendors, and office staff Oversee onboarding and documentation of HVAC systems for new accounts Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met Support job costing, documentation, and operational tracking Requirements Required Experience 10+ years of Commercial HVAC experience Strong background with chillers, boilers, and commercial RTUs Prior leadership, senior tech, or supervisory experience Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable using technology (smartphone apps, photo/video documentation) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Compensation & Schedule Competitive salary (based on experience) Full-time, hybrid field/office role Long-term opportunity within a growing commercial HVAC company Prioritize candidates who: Have been the “go-to” tech on complex jobs Are comfortable stepping into live field situations Can communicate clearly with both technicians and clients Show leadership without ego
