SERVICE MANAGER (DIRECT HIRE)

Location: Columbus, OH
Salary: Competitive, up to $85,000 annually
Crown Staffing is seeking a skilled Service Manager to join a dynamic company in Columbus, Ohio. This unique role combines technical expertise with sales leadership to efficiently manage and grow the service department.
Position Overview:
The Service Manager will oversee service operations including offers, sales pipeline management, client relations, and technical activities. Acting as a key liaison, this role coordinates local teams, sales staff, engineers, and back-office support to ensure alignment with global standards set by the headquarters. This position supports post-sales service and business development across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project execution and resource planning
  • Provide technical support to engineers
  • Report to headquarters ensuring alignment with global service operations
  • Manage commercial offers, customer relationships, and sales support
  • Maintain and update the service line pipeline
  • Organize and monitor travel plans and onsite technical interventions
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across industry segments
  • Travel to customer sites up to 30% of the time

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar technical-commercial management role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic power converters
  • Experience managing technical-commercial offers and sales processes
  • Skilled in organizing onsite service activities and technical troubleshooting
  • Proven team leadership and coordination skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
