Role Summary The Compute Service Manager (Governance & Operations Support) is responsible for supporting the Compute Tower through effective governance, vendor coordination, compliance oversight, and operational controls. The role ensures that vulnerability management, patching governance, vendor procurement, access rights, and compute inventory processes are executed in line with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Vulnerability & Patching Management Governance Govern and coordinate vulnerability remediation and patching activities across compute environments. Track patch compliance, remediation timelines, risk exceptions, and escalation status. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure vulnerabilities are prioritized and addressed. Produce governance reports, dashboards, and audit artefacts for management and regulatory reviews. Vendor & Partner Procurement Management Manage and coordinate procurement of compute-related services from external partners and vendors. Support vendor onboarding, contract renewals, service scope validation, and SLA governance. Act as the primary liaison between internal compute teams and service providers. Monitor service delivery performance and ensure alignment with agreed contractual obligations. Access Rights & Inventory Governance Govern access rights to compute resources, ensuring role-based access control and security compliance. Maintain accurate compute inventory records, including physical and virtual assets. Support periodic access reviews, inventory audits, and reconciliation exercises. Ensure all access and asset changes follow established approval, documentation, and audit processes. Governance & Compliance Ensure compute tower operations align with internal IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and evidence. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen governance and operational controls
