TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in the HVAC industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Red Seal Certification or equivalent technical qualification in HVAC
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of pricing, sales strategies, and operational budgeting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in service software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Implement a short-term (1-year) and medium-term (3-year) strategic plan for the Service Department. Facilitate consistent execution to achieve defined goals.
Sales and Profitability: Increase service project sales, while improving overall service margins. Focus on high-value clients, solving high-value problems at high-value moments.
Customer Responsiveness: Maintain strong customer communication and achieve faster response times to inquiries and turnaround on repair quotes. Same-day service for high-priority issues from high-priority customers.
Team Leadership & Culture: Build and retain a high-performing team aligned with Hardy Mechanical’s core values. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
